Our sales and support staff will ask a lot of questions about your company and your products. We believe that assumptions are not advantageous. It's important for us to qualify all jobs for our quality and production staff before the job is scheduled for production. The more we know about you, your product and its end use, the more we'll be able to help.
Our sales representatives track conversations in call reports that are made available to all Allen employees. These reports are faithfully read by quality control, customer service, our leadership team, production managers and production staff. This ensures the entire Allen team is aware of customer changes or concerns.
In order to improve access to our data, we have centralized all data in a corporate intranet we call AllenCentral. Unlike most corporate intranets, our data is real time, and searching it is fast. We think of it as a GoogleTM-like search into the brains and filing cabinets of all of our employees. If you ask us a question over the phone, the answers will come from someone using AllenCentral.
Flexible & Consistent
We understand that every customer, every job and every size is unique. We also understand that we need to track this uniqueness in a consistant manner. In order to do this effectively, we actually developed a hierarchical job tracking system so that we can capture the unique needs of materials, customers, jobs, colors, textures and sizes. Not only does this make our system flexible, it increases consistancy by inheriting pertinent information from "up the tree".

We are well versed in the use of phones, fax machines and email clients. We understand that a phone conversation can clear up an email. We understand that some customers are tech-savvy and prefer everything in their email inbox. Others love their fax machines and don't want to do any extra work to get their hard copy. We will make sure to match the appropriate information with the appropriate communication method, exactly the way you want it.
Information Through Reporting
For customers who closely manage open orders, finished goods and raw materials inventories, we have developed easy-to-read reports which are available to be emailed or faxed on a weekly basis. You can click on the reports on the right to have a closer look.
